The cornerstone of Isabel Scott's ethos is quite simple - 'Beautiful Gifts Inspired by Great Artists'.  Officially launched in 2018 with a selection from the Munnings Art Museum's collection of paintings and artwork by Sir Alfred James Munnings. 

Arguably Munnings was one of the most important Equestrian and Sporting Artists of the early-mid 20th Century.  His unforgettable and timeless style of capturing rural, sporting and equestrian life is now brought to life on a range of greeting cards, gifts and home wares.  Isabel Scott is delighted to be revealing many familiar images and some, as yet unseen artwork and sketches from the extensive Munnings Museum collection.

In 2020 we added the Cecil Aldin collection (courtesy of the Mary Evans Picture Library). Cecil was a contemporary of Alfred’s and indeed Cecil first met Alfred during WW1 when Munnings was posted to Aldin’s Remount depot to work as a ‘strapper’.

‘The Morning Ride’ by Frederic Whiting has been introduced into the Isabel Scott stable in July 2023, curtesy of The Wolverhampton Art Gallery. The painting currently resides at the National Horse Racing Museum, part of the British Sporting Art Curation in Newmarket. Some of Frederic’s portraits were not unlike those of Munnings in style. He had an excellent feel for air and freedom, movement and sunlight and beautifully free use of paint. The Year’s Art of the period referred to him as very gifted and spoke of him in the same breath as Munnings.

George Stubb’s iconic Whistlejacket joined the Isabel Scott stable in August 2023 and we are delighted to be working with the National Gallery London developing more British Made products to add to the homeware and interior collection.

Isabel Scott takes pride in sourcing products made only in the British Isles.    The range is available via our website and in carefully selected Independent Retailers.   We try our absolute best to source all our packaging from sustainable sources and select packaging we use to send your order out in, which can be re-cycled easily from home.
