We are delighted to be able to share with you a handful of bespoke items of vintage furniture, most definitely not new but pre-loved and bursting with age and character. Quirky, and plain old fashioned, brought back to life with the aid of Sir Alfred Munnings, Cecil Aldin and Frederic Whiting.

One-off pieces, each item has been lovingly restored, buffed and polished and beautifully finished off with a length of a linen mix fabric featuring a unique and stunning artwork from our collection.

If you’re looking for something a bit different for your home or to source a gift that is bespoke and unique, then here it is.

One half of the full illustration, by Cecil Aldin’s illustration from ‘Forty Fine Ladies’ with text by Patrick R Chalmers depicting a gentleman crossing the Leicestershire Countryside, here he finds a good spot in a hedge, over a rail. Printed onto a Linen/Cotton blend fabric, reupholstered onto a smart oak chair. Available on its own, but would look fabulous with it’s matching pair.

An Extract from ‘Forty Fine Ladies’

‘He’s the raking powerful jumper, Through the Brook is out a bumper’ ‘Through the blackthorn’s dark and hairy , with a ditch that’s deep and wide., his no scrambled blown endeavour, smooth as clockwork, quick and clever, one turn faster, half an ear cock, and he’s over in his stride!’
